Bruce Pellman joined Brown Harris Stevens in June 2009 as a licensed real estate salesperson. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Bruce has enjoyed spending his summers in East Hampton since he was 16 years old. Although his primary residence was in Manhattan, Bruce’s heart was in the Hamptons and he couldn’t wait to move here on a permanent basis. He has been a full time resident of East Hampton since 1992.

Prior to entering the real estate profession, Bruce worked in the wholesale paper distribution industry for 26 years. He was Vice President of sales at the Barclay Paper Company, Forrest Paper, Marquardt, and Andrews, Nelson and Whiteheart, where he received the salesperson of the year award. Much of Bruce’s work involved negotiating between paper mills and printers. After leaving the paper industry, he started a market research firm in East Hampton, and was the founder of two cleaning services. Bruce’s entrepreneurial skills, coupled with his ability to mediate and negotiate between two parties, have helped him make a smooth transition into the real estate industry. He works steadfastly to create a meeting of the minds between buyer and seller and is not afraid to think outside of the box. Perhaps Bruce’s most successful business technique is his belief in the power of positive thinking.

An avid sports enthusiast, Bruce has participated in various athletics throughout his life. In his youth, his Little League team won the Long Island World Series. In prep school, his track and field team went on to win the National Championship. As an adult, Bruce went on to coach basketball, baseball, football and soccer in Manhattan. He was also a volunteer coach and fundraiser for the East Hampton High School’s football team. Currently, Bruce enjoys playing golf at the Montauk Downs, Maidstone Club and Shinnecock Golf Club. He has an ardent interest in following the NFL draft.
