Quogue Classic

Historic Victorian farmhouse c.1821 has been in the same family for six generations. Located on an important street one mile from the ocean beach, this six bedroom center hall features a gabled roof, flared eaves, louvered shutters and brick chimneys. Once a well regarded destination during the boarding house era from the 1880’s to the 1940’s. The current dining room was added in the 1890’s to serve as the social center of the three boarding houses owned by the seller at this time. Wide plank floors throughout, living room with oak paneled bead board walls and ceiling plus fireplace, den with fireplace, and formal dining room. Updated throughout the years, the house now includes an outdoor deck, outdoor shower and modern kitchen. Large carriage barn at the rear of the 1.7 acre lot is clad with vertical boards. Part of a timeless setting with solid real estate values.
